inDrive mobility platform has introduced its innovative 'Fair Price' model in India aiming to redefine the dynamics of ride-hailing. Unlike traditional services where algorithms and artificial intelligence dictate fares and ride options, inDrive empowers riders to set their price and choose their vehicle. This novel approach removes biases linked to smartphone models, battery life, or other algorithm-driven parameters.

inDrive is positioning itself as a disruptor in a market dominated by algorithm-based pricing models. The platform’s mission to challenge systemic inequities is part of its larger goal of positively impacting 1 billion lives by 2030.

inDrive's peer-to-peer pricing allows drivers to negotiate fares directly with passengers, ensuring that both parties find the arrangement equitable. By operating with a lean business structure and leveraging cost-efficient technology, inDrive maintains a low-fee model while delivering reliable service.

Pratip Mazumder, Country Manager for India, stated “Our model ensures that pricing is agreed upon mutually by the rider and the driver, which fosters trust and reduces financial pressures caused by rigid fare structures. This approach also supports drivers by enabling them to earn more while passengers save money.”
