iGowise Mobility has announced major international partnerships aimed at co-developing and exporting electric trikes to key global markets. The company has joined hands with EVMI Solutions in the UK, Subeez in Switzerland, and Yaanco SAS in Colombia.

The new partnerships are built around the company’s modular iTrike LeanEV platform, which allows for tailored regional solutions. For instance, the South American variant will address frequent rainfall and steep gradients, while the European trike will focus on battery efficiency in cold weather. In the Middle East, where extreme temperatures and high-speed requirements are common, the focus will be on durability and highway-capable design. The company also stated that customer feedback will continue to play a major role in testing and development through a fast and lean iterative process.

As part of its expansion strategy, iGowise plans to deliver fully assembled e-trikes before 2026 and set up micro-assembly shops in local markets within 24 to 30 months. The company believes this approach will lower operational barriers and ease the process of customising vehicles to meet local requirements. Additionally, the company is already in discussions for a potential export deal worth USD 50 million, or approximately INR 415 crore, with a fleet operator in the Middle East.

Sravan Kumar Appana, Founder, iGowise, stated that this is an opportunity for India to lead with indigenous innovation and increase its automotive and technology exports to USD 300 billion by 2035. He added that bridging the gap left by expensive trike imports from Japan and China will not only improve affordability but also reduce licensing hurdles through iGo’s innovative narrow-track twin-wheel design.

One of the major advantages iGo claims over imported trikes is in lowering regulatory complexity and operational costs. The narrow-track twin-wheel setup avoids the need for three-wheeler licences in several regions, making it more accessible for fleet operators and individual users alike. In Colombia, Yaanco SAS sees a clear opportunity to address both logistics and personal mobility needs with this design. According to Dr Ankur Seth, Founder, Yaanco, the similarity between South American and Indian market conditions creates ideal ground for deploying iGo’s technology.

The startup is also planning to set up the world’s first micromobility lab dedicated to AI-driven light electric vehicles in collaboration with its global partners. Alongside its international ambitions, iGo has partnered with Hala Mobility, a domestic fleet operator, to deploy 2,000 high-speed electric trikes in India, underscoring its dual market focus.
