Hyundai Motor India Limited (HMIL) ramps up the safety quotient of its vehicles by announcing 6-airbags as standard across all its models. The popular model Verna scores a five-star rating in adult and child occupant protection by Global NCAP. Also, the company will voluntarily participate in BNCAP safety testing, with three models to begin with and more to follow.
Hyundai Verna comes equipped with over 30 safety features such as six airbags, ESC (Electronic Stability Control) with VSM (Vehicle Stability Management), Hill Start Assist Control (HAC), Impact sensing auto door unlock, Emergency Stop Signal (ESS), ISOFIX, Headlamp Escort Function, etc. This includes Level 2 ADAS, Front Parking Sensors, Electronic Parking Brake and TPMS.
