Hyundai Motor India Limited (HMIL) showcased a working prototype of its Hyundai Creta Flex Fuel vehicle at the Bharat Mobility Global Expo 2025 in New Delhi. This development aligns with the Government of India's vision to reduce oil imports, achieve energy security, and promote the rural economy through the adoption of flex fuel technology.

Flex fuel technology represents a significant step forward in reducing the carbon footprint of vehicles. Ethanol, a biogenic fuel derived from plant materials, provides an environmentally friendly alternative to traditional fossil fuels. By adopting flex fuel vehicles, India can benefit from improved power and torque delivery, reduced greenhouse gas emissions, and potential cost advantages through government-supported incentives and increased availability of ethanol-blended fuel.

Hyundai’s global propulsion capabilities encompass a wide range of technologies, including Flex Fuel, Hybrid, Electric, and Hydrogen, reinforcing its position as a leader in advanced mobility solutions.
