Korean carmaker Hyundai Motor India on Monday announced the commencement of bookings for its flagship SUV, Tuscon, at INR 50,000.

To be retailed through the company’s Signature outlets, the new product will be available in two trim levels, namely Platinum with over 45 standard safety features and the Signature trim level with 60 Safety features. 

Some notable takeaways from the safety list of the vehicle include SmartSense with Level-2 ADAS capability offered with Forward Collision Warning, Forward Collision-Avoidance Assist- Car, Forward Collision-Avoidance Assist- Pedestrian, Forward Collision-Avoidance Assist- Cycle, Forward Collision-Avoidance Assist- Junction Turning, Blind-Spot Collision Warning, Blind-Spot Collision-Avoidance Assist, Lane Keeping Assist, Lane Departure Warning, Driver Attention Warning, Blind-Spot View Monitor and Safe Exit Warning along with Surround View Monitor (SVM) and Blind View Monitor (BVM) to name a few.

Other technology features on board are a 10.25-inch infotainment system with in-build navigation, 10.25-inch digital instrument cluster, Bose premium sound eight-speaker system, a 64-colour ambient lighting, parametric hidden LED DRLs & positioning lamps, LED MFR headlamps, LED static bending lamps and connecting LED tail lamps among others.
