The Korean carmaker, Hyundai Motor India, has updated its most selling model, the Creta, with the introduction of the Knight Edition starting at INR 13,51,200, ex-showroom. The company also updated the SUV for MY22 by adding an iMT transmission option on the 1.5L Petrol S trim at INR 12,83,600, ex-showroom and the addition of S+ Trim for the 1.4L Kappa turbo GDi petrol engine.
Available in the shade of black only, cosmetically, the Knight Edition features a gloss black front radiator grille with red inserts, front & rear skid plates, lightening arch c-pillar garnish, and side sill garnish, roof rails, outside rearview mirrors, shark fin antenna and black tail lamp inserts.
Besides, it also gets body colour door handles, dark chrome emblem finish, red front brake callipers, 16-inch dark metal coloured alloy wheels for the S+ trim and 17-inch for the SX(O) trim level and Knight Edition emblem.
The updates to the regular model include Tyre Pressure Monitoring System (Highline) and Glossy Black Centre Console on SX (O) trim as standard, along with the new Denim Blue paint option.
On the other hand, the newly introduced S+ trim will feature a panoramic sunroof, smartphone wireless charger, rear disc brakes, paddle shifters, metal pedals, electric folding ORVM, and auto fold and power window with auto up/down.
Additionally, Electronic Stability Control (ESC), Vehicle Stability Management (VSM) and Hill Start Assist Control (HAC) are some of the safety features onboard the new variant.

Interestingly, the company sold 119,092 units of the SUV in FY22, making it the most sold Hyundai in the country and the sixth bestselling vehicle in the fiscal year.
