Hyundai Motor India has reported that the adoption of connected cars has soared from 5% in 2019 to 30% in 2023 concerning total HMIL sales, marking the sale of over 5 lakh connected cars in a span of four years.
The Hyundai Creta, Venue and i20 have emerged as the frontrunners in contributing to the increasing trend of connected car sales.
Unsoo Kim, MD & CEO of Hyundai Motor India Ltd., stated that the company has solidified its position as a pioneer in futuristic technology and smart mobility with its connected car platform - Bluelink.
First introduced in 2019, Hyundai Motor India became the first car manufacturer in the mass segment to offer such a comprehensive ecosystem of connected car services. Bluelink has experienced a substantial increase in penetration among Hyundai customers, reflecting the evolving preference for vehicles equipped with advanced connectivity features, he added.
