Hyundai India Launches Sparsh Sanjeevani Mobile Chikitsa Units mobility outlook

Hyundai Motor India Foundation (HMIF) has launched the Sparsh Sanjeevani Mobile Chikitsa units in the Nagpur and Aurangabad districts of Maharashtra. These units represent a significant step towards improving healthcare access in rural Maharashtra. Each unit is equipped with advanced medical facilities, enabling comprehensive diagnostics and consultations on the go.

The mobile units will operate across various rural locations in Nagpur and Aurangabad, providing a range of medical services. These include routine check-ups, diagnostic tests, and consultations, all free of charge. The initiative is expected to significantly reduce the burden on local healthcare facilities and improve overall health outcomes in these districts.

The initiative was inaugurated by Girish Mahajan, Minister of Rural Development & Youth Affairs and Sports, Government of Maharashtra, at a special event held to mark the occasion and expressed his appreciation for Hyundai Motor India Foundation's efforts and underscored the positive impact these mobile units are expected to have on the local communities.

Puneet Anand, AVP & Vertical Head of Corporate Affairs at HMIL, stated 'In line with Hyundai’s global vision of ‘Progress for Humanity,’ HMIF’s Sparsh Sanjeevani Mobile Chikitsa Units aim to positively impact remote and underserved areas of Nagpur and Aurangabad districts. Specialised Hyundai Mighty vans converted into Mobile Chikitsa units are equipped with state-of-the-art amenities and will move around rural areas of these districts, offering proactive diagnostics and free medical consultations directly to those in need.'
