Hyundai Motor India Limited (HMIL) has announced the successful employment placement of 403 students from Industrial Training Institutes (ITIs) and polytechnic institutes across nine Indian states. The recruitment drive spanned nine states, including Assam, Arunachal Pradesh, Tamil Nadu, Maharashtra, Telangana, West Bengal, Uttar Pradesh, Uttarakhand, and Gujarat. Through this effort, HMIL continues its commitment to providing meaningful employment opportunities within its expansive dealer network.
In alignment with the Government of India’s ‘Skill India’ initiative, HMIL’s skill development program equips students with industry-ready skills and exposure to the latest technologies. The program includes on-the-job training and ensures that students are well-prepared to contribute effectively from their first day of employment.
HMIL’s commitment extends to 76 government ITIs and polytechnic institutes through a comprehensive tie-up facilitated by the Hyundai Motor India Foundation (HMIF), the CSR arm of HMIL. HMIF has invested in enhancing these institutes' facilities, ensuring students have access to necessary resources, quality education, and exposure to cutting-edge technology.
As part of the initiative, HMIL provides study materials on the latest advancements in automotive and automobile technology, alongside practical, on-the-job training. This holistic approach not only enhances students’ skillsets but also ensures they are prepared to meet the demands of the rapidly evolving automotive industry.
