Hyundai Expands EXTER mobility outlook

Hyundai Motor India Limited (HMIL) has introduced two new variants of its entry-level SUV, the EXTER. The latest additions, the S+ (AMT) and S(O)+ (MT), aim to cater to the needs of India's dynamic youth driven by passion for adventure and exploration.

Both new variants of the Hyundai EXTER are powered by the 1.2L Kappa petrol engine, delivering performance suitable for urban commutes and longer journeys alike. These models come equipped with an array of features designed to enhance the driving experience and cater to the evolving preferences of customers in the SUV segment.

The S+ (AMT) and S(O)+ (MT) variants include several advanced features, such as a smart electric sunroof, digital cluster with a colour TFT multi-information display (MID), and an 8-inch touchscreen infotainment system compatible with Android Auto and Apple CarPlay. Additionally, both variants offer rear AC vents, LED daytime running lights (DRLs), front and rear skid plates, and a headlamp escort function.

Pricing for these new variants:

S(O)+ (MT): INR 7,86,300 (ex-showroom)

S+ (AMT): INR 8,43,900 (ex-showroom)

In line with Hyundai's commitment to safety, the new EXTER variants come equipped with a comprehensive suite of safety features. These include 6 airbags, 3-point seatbelts for all seats, and electronic stability control (ESC). Other features designed to ensure driver and passenger safety include hill-start assist control (HAC), vehicle stability management (VSM), a tyre pressure monitoring system (TPMS - Highline), and ABS with EBD.
