Hyundai Motor India Limited has announced the launch of a new EX variant in its EXTER Hy-CNG Duo range, priced at INR 7,50,700 (ex-showroom). The EXTER Hy-CNG Duo EX variant is equipped with a 1.2-litre bi-fuel Kappa petrol engine configured to run on both petrol and CNG, reflecting Hyundai’s commitment to practical eco-mobility. The car features a dual-cylinder setup that not only improves boot space utility but also supports extended range for daily city drives and occasional highway travel.
The EX variant includes six airbags as standard, a digital instrument cluster with a 4.2-inch colour TFT multi-information display, signature H-shaped LED tail lamps, driver seat height adjustment, and keyless entry. These additions demonstrate Hyundai’s intention to maintain high safety standards even in its cost-effective models.
Tarun Garg, Whole-Time Director and Chief Operating Officer, Hyundai Motor India Limited, described the vehicle as an affordable yet innovative solution that combines bi-fuel technology with enhanced features, broadening Hyundai’s reach in the eco-friendly vehicle space.
With increasing fuel prices and rising awareness of emissions, the expansion of Hyundai’s CNG portfolio is timely. By combining practicality with price consciousness, the EXTER Hy-CNG Duo EX variant may appeal to those seeking reduced running costs without forgoing basic features and comfort.
