Honda Motorcycle & Scooter India (HMSI) has launched its XL750 Transalp adventure motorcycle in India at an introductory price of INR 10,99,990 (ex-showroom Gurugram). The XL750 Transalp is an adventure tourer that is designed to be a comfortable long-distance motorcycle and a powerful commuter at the same time.
The Honda XL750 Transalp is powered by a new 755cc liquid-cooled 270 degree crank in-line two-cylinder engine that churns out 90.5 bhp of power and 75 Nm of torque. The engine is mated to a 6-speed gearbox and features patented Vortex flow ducts for sharp throttle response.
The XL750 Transalp comes equipped with a 5.0-inch TFT panel that intuitively shows a wealth of information, including a speedometer, tachometer, gear-position indicator, fuel gauge & consumption, riding modes, engine parameters and more. It also gets the Honda Smartphone Voice Control system (HSVCs), emergency stop signal, and automatic turn signal cancelling features.
The XL750 Transalp is suspended on 43mm Showa SFF-CA upside-down front forks and a rear shock operating through Pro-Link. Braking duties are performed by dual 310mm wave discs with hydraulic 2-piston calipers at the front and a 256 mm single disc with 1-pot calliper at the rear with dual-channel ABS as standard.
The XL750 Transalp is available in two colour schemes - Ross White and Matte Ballistic Black.
