Honda Motorcycle & Scooter India (HMSI) has introduced a ten year ‘Extended Warranty’ & ‘Extended Warranty Plus’ programme for the CB350 H’ness and CB350RS models.
The ‘Extended Warranty’ programme can be availed by the first 10,000 new vehicle purchase customers at the Big Wing dealership. The programme allows customers to avail of the warranty within a flexible window which ranges from 91 days to the ninth year from the date of ownership. This ten-year warranty coverage and renewal option is also transferable if the ownership of the vehicle changes.
The comprehensive warranty covers critical high-value components and mechanical and electrical parts, up to 130,000 kilometres for H’ness and CB350RS motorcycles. Allowing more choice for customers, the ‘Extended Warranty Plus’ programme offers three options; a three-year policy for vehicles up to the seventh year, a two-year policy for vehicles in their eighth year, and a one-year policy for those in their ninth year of ownership. The warranty covers all the failures that occur due to manufacturing defects.
Yogesh Mathur, Director of Sales, Marketing, HMSI, mentioned that the warranty programmes celebrate 100,000 customers milestone for HMSI, thus setting new satisfaction standards. Customers can conveniently access this service at any authorised Honda BigWing, with prices starting from INR 5,321. This warranty structure varies as per the purchase year of the vehicle for all customers.
