Honda Motorcycle & Scooter India (HMSI) has launched the all-new CB300F flex-fuel, marking a major milestone in India’s shift toward greener mobility solutions. As the country’s first 300cc flex-fuel motorcycle, the CB300F aligns with India’s focus on sustainable transportation.
Equipped with a 293.52cc, oil-cooled, single-cylinder PGM-FI engine, the CB300F flex-fuel runs on up to E85 fuel (85% ethanol and 15% gasoline). It delivers 18.3 kW of power and 25.9 Nm of torque. The engine is paired with a 6-speed gearbox featuring an assist slipper clutch for quick gear shifts and enhanced safety during downshifting.
Designed for both performance and safety, the CB300F flex-fuel is fitted with dual-channel ABS, disc brakes at both ends, and Honda’s Selectable Torque Control (HSTC). It boasts golden USD front forks and a 5-step adjustable rear mono-shock for superior handling. The bike also features an all-LED lighting system, fully digital instrumentation, and an Intelligent Ethanol Indicator that alerts riders if higher ethanol content gasoline is detected.
The 2024 Honda CB300F flex-fuel will be offered in two colours - Sports Red and Mat Axis Grey Metallic. It will be available at BigWing dealerships across India from the last week of October 2024.
Tsutsumu Otani, Managing Director, President & CEO, Honda Motorcycle & Scooter India, said, “The introduction of the flex-fuel CB300F represents our effort to reduce emissions and address India’s energy needs. This launch supports the Government of India’s Ethanol Blended Petrol (EBP) program, paving the way for a cleaner future.”
Yogesh Mathur, Director, Sales and Marketing, HMSI, added, “Indian consumers are increasingly seeking eco-friendly options without compromising performance. The CB300F flex-fuel combines modern technology and environmental responsibility, setting new benchmarks in the premium motorcycle segment.”
