Honda Cars India Ltd (HCIL) has launched an industry-first extended warranty programme, offering coverage for up to 7 years with no limitations on kilometres driven. This initiative provides peace of mind for Honda car owners, regardless of how much they drive. The warranty is available for petrol variants of the Elevate, City, City e:HEV, Amaze, and select earlier models such as the Civic, Jazz, and WR-V, provided they were enrolled in Honda's Extended Warranty Programme.
Honda's new extended warranty underscores the company’s dedication to providing enhanced customer experience, ensuring car owners can rely on long-term protection. The programme is tailored for those who use their vehicles for daily commutes or long-distance travel, eliminating concerns over mileage restrictions.
Kunal Behl, Vice President of Marketing & Sales at Honda Cars India, stated “We believe this initiative will redefine expectations for vehicle ownership in the industry.”
Customers can opt for the extended warranty within two years of purchasing their vehicle, while those already enrolled in the existing warranty programme for four or five years can extend it to cover seven years or up to 1,50,000 kilometres, whichever comes first. The warranty is transferable, adding value to the vehicle at the time of resale.
Key features of Honda's Extended Warranty Programme include nationwide service access, coverage for repairs or parts replacement at no additional cost, and a fully transferable warranty, all designed to empower the long-term ownership experience.
