Honda Motorcycle & Scooter India (HMSI) has expanded its premium motorcycle portfolio with the launch of the CB650R and CBR650R. These new models, priced at INR 9.20 lakh and INR 9.99 lakh respectively (ex-showroom Delhi), cater to motorcycling enthusiasts seeking high performance and distinctive Honda design.
The CB650R Neo Sports Café combines minimalist aesthetics with rugged sophistication. It features a round all-LED headlamp, a sculpted fuel tank, and an exposed frame. Powered by a 649cc liquid-cooled inline-four engine, it delivers 94 bhp at 12,000 rpm and 63 Nm of torque at 9,500 rpm. The engine is paired with a 6-speed gearbox and an assist and slipper clutch, ensuring smooth power delivery and precise shifts. The CB650R comes equipped with premium components, including Showa inverted forks, a mono-shock with adjustable preload, and dual radial-mounted 310mm front disc brakes with dual-channel ABS. Its 5-inch TFT colour display, Bluetooth connectivity via the Honda RoadSync app, and two colour options—Candy Chromosphere Red and Matte Gunpowder Black Metallic—add to its appeal.
The CBR650R sportbike embodies Honda’s racing DNA with aggressive styling and aerodynamic lines. It shares the same 649cc engine as the CB650R, offering thrilling acceleration and smooth power delivery. The CBR650R features a Honda Selectable Torque Control system for enhanced traction, Showa 41mm Separate Function Fork Big Piston (SFF-BP) suspension, and dual-channel ABS. A 5-inch TFT display and Honda RoadSync compatibility enhance its tech-savvy appeal. Available in Grand Prix Red and Matte Gunpowder Black Metallic, it exudes speed and sophistication.
