Honda Motorcycle & Scooter India (HMSI) has launched the updated 2025 Hornet 2.0. Now compliant with OBD2B emission norms, the latest iteration comes with modern styling, advanced technology, and enhanced safety features. Priced at INR 1,56,953 (ex-showroom Delhi), the new Hornet 2.0 is available at all HMSI Red Wing and BigWing dealerships across India.
According to Tsutsumu Otani, Managing Director, President & CEO of HMSI, the Hornet 2.0 has consistently evolved with special editions and updates. He stated that the new OBD2B-compliant model offers a refined riding experience, cutting-edge technology, and superior safety features.
The new Hornet 2.0 features a refreshed design with graphics and an all-LED lighting setup, enhancing its road presence. The motorcycle is available in four colour options: Pearl Igneous Black, Radiant Red Metallic, Athletic Blue Metallic, and Mat Axis Gray Metallic.
Powering the Hornet 2.0 is an OBD2B-compliant 184.40cc, single-cylinder, 4-stroke engine, producing 16.7 bhp at 8,500 rpm and 15.7 Nm of torque at 6,000 rpm. The engine is paired with a 5-speed gearbox, providing a balance of performance and efficiency. Honda has also equipped the bike with an Assist & Slipper Clutch, ensuring smoother gear shifts and preventing rear-wheel locking during aggressive downshifting.
The updated Hornet 2.0 introduces a 4.2-inch TFT display with Bluetooth connectivity, enabling navigation support, incoming call alerts, and SMS notifications via the Honda RoadSync app. A USB C-type charging port has been added to provide riders with on-the-go convenience.
Honda has equipped the Hornet 2.0 with Honda Selectable Torque Control (HSTC) and Dual-Channel ABS, offering better braking performance and stability under different riding conditions.
