The centre will also explore software solutions and connected services, emphasising open innovation through collaboration with local tech companies and startups. This approach not only leverages Bengaluru’s rich technological ecosystem but also encourages the development of revolutionary services and business models that transcend traditional boundaries.
Honda’s expansion in Bengaluru is strategic, placing it at the heart of India’s tech hub, renowned for its dynamic research and development landscape. Honda has aligned its corporate mission with environmental imperatives, setting a target to achieve carbon neutrality for all its products and corporate activities by 2050. In the realm of motorcycles, the company aims for carbon neutrality by the 2040s.
