Honda Cars India Limited (HCIL) has launched the Elevate at an introductory price starting from INR 10.99 lakh, ex-showroom India for the base SV variant, going up to INR 15.99 lakh for the ZX CVT variant.

With 4312 mm in length and a wheelbase of 2650 mm, the SUV will take on the Hyundai Creta, Kia Sletos, Suzuki Grand Vitara, Toyota Hyryder and the upcoming Citroen C3 Aircross.

The Elevate is powered by a 1.5L i-Vtec petrol engine paired to either a six-speed manual transmission or a CVT, producing 121 hp and 145 Nm of torque.

Besides the engine and the platform, Elevate shares a few components with the City and Amaze. The cabin sees a new 10.25-inch touchscreen infotainment system with wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay. It also has a 7-inch HD colour TFT instrument cluster as the City.

The SUV also carries Honda Sensing from the City, with features such as lane keep assist, collision mitigation braking, road departure mitigation, adaptive cruise control, auto high beam, and lead car departure notification.

As for active safety features, Elevate gets a lane watch camera, rear seat reminder, vehicle stability assist, hill start assist, emergency stop signal and rear parking sensors.

Additionally, two packages have been introduced to give customers customisation choices: Signature package – to enhance the exterior appearance with spoilers and chrome garnishes and Armor package – to provide protection and enhance the rugged look. In total, Elevate will have 36 accessory items on offer.

The vehicle is offered a standard three years of unlimited kilometres warranty. The customers can also opt for an extended warranty of up to five years, an anytime warranty of up to 10 years and Road Side Assistance from the date of the car purchase.

Takuya Tsumura, President & CEO, HCIL, said that with the Elevate, HCIL makes a foray into one of the most exciting auto segments in India.

“The tremendous anticipation surrounding this product underscores the trust our customers have in our offerings. Honda Elevate holds the potential to become key pillar of Honda’s business in India, offering remarkable value to our evolving customers,” he added.
