Novus Hi-Tech, a global leader in Driver Monitoring Systems (DMS), In-Cabin Sensing, and Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS), is set to unveil its latest suite of safety solutions tailored specifically for the mining industry at the prestigious Bharat Mobility Global Expo 2025, held at Yashobhoomi, New Delhi. The unveiling will feature these advanced safety systems deployed on the Eicher Pro 8035 XM mining trucks, demonstrating how these solutions meet the stringent requirements of the Directorate General of Mines Safety (DGMS).

The new mining safety suite is a cutting-edge combination of technologies designed to enhance safety, operational efficiency, and regulatory compliance. Central to the suite is the Driver Monitoring System (DMS), an AI-based camera system that continuously monitors driver behaviour, detecting signs of fatigue or inattention and alerting the driver in real-time. This proactive approach aims to prevent accidents caused by human error, significantly improving operational safety on the field. Complementing the DMS is the Proximity Warning System (PWS), an advanced RADAR-based system that provides real-time alerts about nearby obstacles and vehicles, preventing collisions in hazardous mining environments. Additionally, the Auto Dipper System automatically adjusts the truck's headlights to low beam, optimising visibility while reducing glare for other road users.

The unveiling event will take place on 20th January 2025 at 11:30 am at OD1.1 in front of Exhibition Hall 2, featuring live demonstrations and product presentations. These presentations will highlight how these patent-pending innovations contribute to the enhancement of safety in mining operations, helping to mitigate the risks posed by the challenging environments in which these vehicles operate.

'Our unwavering mission to help fleets achieve zero-accident operations through cutting-edge technologies is exemplified by the Hi-Tech Safe product suite, which has already prevented over 200,000 accidents,' said Mr. Anuj Kapuria, CEO & Founder of The Hi-Tech Group. 'Today, we are thrilled to launch a pioneering safety solution specifically designed for mining operations, in partnership with Eicher Trucks and Buses. This collaboration is setting a new standard for operational safety and efficiency within the mining sector.'

The launch at Bharat Mobility Global Expo 2025 highlights the growing importance of safety technologies within India's mining sector. The collaboration between The Hi-Tech Group and Eicher Trucks signals a significant step forward in the integration of advanced safety systems in commercial mining vehicles, aligning with the industry’s increasing focus on worker safety, regulatory compliance, and operational efficiency.
