Hesai Technology, a global leader in lidar innovation, has launched its AT1440 and solid-state FTX lidar at CES 2025 in Las Vegas that can redefine standards in autonomous driving and robotics, setting new benchmarks in performance and precision.
The AT1440, equipped with Hesai’s latest Gen 4 proprietary technology, boasts 1440 channels, making it the most advanced automotive-grade lidar globally. With an angular resolution of 0.02° and ultra-high-definition image-level point clouds, the AT1440 offers a resolution over 30 times greater than mainstream automotive lidars. This innovation provides unparalleled 3D detail, positioning the AT1440 as a cornerstone for advanced driver assistance systems (ADAS) and autonomous vehicles.
Hesai also introduced its next-generation FTX lidar, featuring a fully solid-state electronic scanning system. With the largest field of view (FOV) in its class—180° x 140°—and a range of 30 meters at 10% reflectivity, the FTX delivers high-definition blind-spot scanning. Designed for both ADAS and robotic applications, the FTX weighs 66% less than its predecessor, with a sleek embedded design that enhances its versatility for seamless integration in vehicles and intelligent robots.
Hesai’s market leadership is underscored by more than 100 design wins with 21 automotive OEMs, including 6 of the top 10 global players. In December alone, Hesai delivered over 100,000 lidar units, becoming the first company to achieve this milestone. With a projected annual production capacity exceeding 2 million units in 2025, Hesai is positioned to scale its innovations globally.
