Hero MotoCorp has announced that it will raise the prices of its two-wheelers from 1 July. The company plans to raise the prices by up to Rs 1,500 and this is being done to partially offset the increase in input costs. The last time Hero announced a price hike for similar reasons was in October 2023.

Hero MotoCorp’s India portfolio consists of many scooters and motorcycles. The most affordable offering is the HF Deluxe, which starts from Rs. 57,500 while the flagship motorcycle is the Karizma XMR which costs Rs. 1.80 lakh. The scooter range is doing well, especially the new Xoom. Hero plans to expand its scooter portfolio with the launch of the Xoom 125 and the Xoom 160. The latter is their first maxi scooter.

It is worth noting that while some companies silently raise the prices of their two-wheelers, Hero is among the few to announce a price hike officially before they actually raise the prices.
