Hero MotoCorp Reports Record Revenue & Profit In Q3 FY25

Hero MotoCorp has reported revenue of INR 10,211 crore for the third quarter of FY25, marking a 5 per cent increase compared to INR 9,724 crore in the same quarter of the previous financial year. The company's net profit after tax (PAT) for the quarter stood at INR 1,203 crore, reflecting a 12 per cent growth over the previous year. The company also declared an interim dividend of INR 100 per share, representing a payout of 5000 per cent.

During the quarter, Hero MotoCorp sold 14.64 lakh units of motorcycles and scooters, a slight increase from the 14.60 lakh units sold in Q3 FY24. The company's earnings before interest, tax, depreciation, and amortisation (EBITDA) stood at INR 1,476 crore, marking an 8 per cent growth. The EBITDA margin expanded to 14.5 per cent, demonstrating improved operational efficiency. The company’s consolidated revenue for the quarter was INR 10,260 crore, with consolidated PAT recorded at INR 1,108 crore.

For the first nine months of FY25, Hero MotoCorp registered its highest-ever revenue and profit, with revenue from operations reaching INR 30,818 crore, reflecting a 10 per cent year-on-year growth. The company's PAT for the period was INR 3,529 crore, growing by 20 per cent compared to the same period in the previous financial year. EBITDA for the nine months stood at INR 4,452 crore, registering a 14 per cent growth.

Hero MotoCorp attributed its growth to strong performance in both the domestic and global markets. The company gained market share in the 100cc segment with the Splendor and in the 125cc segment with the Xtreme 125R and Super Splendor. It also reported healthy retail sales during the festive season. The company’s electric vehicle (EV) brand, VIDA, achieved its highest-ever monthly retail sales and gained market share. Hero MotoCorp’s global business also saw growth, particularly in Bangladesh and Colombia, where it outperformed the industry average.

At Bharat Mobility 2025, the company launched four new products to strengthen its presence in the premium and scooter segments. Deliveries of these new models are set to begin in March 2025. Additionally, the company unveiled three new motorcycles at EICMA 2024, including the Xpulse 210, the Xtreme 250R, and the Karizma XMR 250, along with the VIDA Z electric scooter. Hero MotoCorp also introduced the Xpulse 200 4V Dakar Edition, inspired by its participation in the 2024 Dakar Rally.

The company has expanded its partnership with Harley-Davidson to introduce new variants of the X440 motorcycle and develop additional models. It has also launched over 50 Hero Premia stores across India and achieved its highest-ever festive sales, selling 15.98 lakh units. Hero MotoCorp's sustainability efforts were recognised with the Sword of Honour from the British Safety Council for its Gurugram manufacturing facility.
