Hero MotoCorp, the world’s largest manufacturer of motorcycles and scooters, made a significant mark at the Bharat Mobility Global Expo 2025 by unveiling an exciting range of products and groundbreaking technologies. The showcase not only highlighted the brand's growing presence in the premium motorcycle and scooter segments but also emphasised its commitment to sustainability and innovation.
The focus of Hero MotoCorp's pavilion was its expanded lineup of vehicles, which now includes the Xtreme 250R, a powerful debut in the 250cc segment, and the Xpulse 210, which further strengthens the brand's presence in the off-road segment. Additionally, Hero MotoCorp introduced new scooters in the Xoom 125 and Xoom 160 variants, aiming to offer diverse choices for the urban commuter.
Niranjan Gupta, Chief Executive Officer of Hero MotoCorp, shared his excitement about the brand's showcase: “At Bharat Mobility 2025, Hero MotoCorp proudly presented a dynamic and diverse lineup that reflects our vision for the future of mobility. Gupta further emphasised the significance of the launch, stating, “With the launch of new models such as the Xtreme 250R and Xpulse 210, and our expansion into the 160cc scooter segment, we continue to build on our strong foundation. Hero MotoCorp is dedicated to delivering world-class products that cater to the evolving needs of our customers, while contributing to a cleaner, greener, and more inclusive future.”
Product Launches and Pricing
The newly launched vehicles include:
- Xtreme 250R – Priced at INR 1,79,900/-
- Xpulse 210 – Priced at INR 1,75,800/-
- Xoom 160 – Priced at INR 1,48,500/-
- Xoom 125 – Priced at INR 86,900/-
All four products will be available for booking from February 2025, with deliveries expected to commence in March 2025. These models will be available through Hero Premia showrooms for the premium motorcycles and Hero Dealerships for the Xoom scooters.
Hero's Flex-Fuel Motorcycle – HF Deluxe
In line with India’s push towards green and renewable energy, Hero MotoCorp also unveiled its first flex-fuel motorcycle, the ethanol-powered HF Deluxe. Developed at Hero’s Centre for Innovation and Technology (CIT) in Jaipur, this motorcycle runs on ethanol-blended gasoline (E20 to E85). Powered by a 100cc BS6 engine, the HF Deluxe is a step towards promoting cleaner fuel technologies and reducing the carbon footprint of two-wheeler transportation.
VIDA V2 – A Step Towards Sustainable Urban Mobility
Continuing its journey towards electric mobility, Hero MotoCorp presented the VIDA V2 e-scooter, launched in December 2024. The VIDA V2 is available at a starting price of INR 96,000/- and is equipped with a removable battery that allows for easy charging. With an IDC range of up to 165 km per charge, the VIDA V2 offers an engaging ride powered by a 6kW peak motor, producing 25Nm of torque. This e-scooter exemplifies Hero MotoCorp’s commitment to making electric vehicles accessible and aspirational for all.
Surge S32 – The Future of Mobility Innovation
Hero MotoCorp’s in-house startup, Surge, also showcased the Surge S32, a class-convertible vehicle that has won several prestigious awards, including TIME Magazine's Best Innovations of 2024, Red Dot’s “Best of the Best”, and Platinum at the A' Design Awards. The Surge S32 is an example of Hero's leadership in the design and technological evolution of mobility.
Other Highlights from Hero MotoCorp
The Hero MotoCorp pavilion also provided a sneak peek into future models, including the 2025 Karizma XMR 210 Combat Edition, the Mavrick 440 Pro (both featuring Upside Down Forks and TFT instrument clusters), and the Karizma XMR 250, alongside the upcoming Vida Z electric vehicle. These products exemplify Hero’s forward-thinking approach to both performance and design.
Hero Premia – Premium Retail Experience
In a move to further elevate its customer experience, Hero MotoCorp introduced Hero Premia, a new chain of premium showrooms. These state-of-the-art dealerships feature dedicated zones for Hero, VIDA, and Harley-Davidson products, providing customers with a seamless and luxurious retail experience. With over 60 Premia dealerships already established, Hero plans to expand this network to 100 in the coming months.
Adventure Zone – Hero's Motorsport DNA
At the Adventure Zone, Hero showcased its motorsport-inspired models, including the Xpulse 210 Rally and the Dakar Rally Edition. These bikes epitomise Hero MotoCorp’s commitment to adventure and off-road performance, designed to cater to thrill-seekers and those passionate about motorsport.
