Hero MotoCorp will start delivering its most expensive motorcycle – the Mavrick 440, on 15 April. The bike was launched a few days ago at Rs 1.99 lakh (ex-showroom).
The company is taking bookings on its official website and also through its showrooms. As of now, the brand is charging a booking amount of Rs 5000, which is fully refundable. The Mavrick is available in three variants – the base variant is priced at Rs 1.99 lakh, the mid-spec at Rs 2.14 lakh and the top-end at Rs 2.24 lakh.
The Hero Mavrick is built on the same platform as the Harley-Davidson X440. As a result, majority of the components are common among both the bikes. The differentiation comes in the form of styling where the X440 is more of a cruiser, whereas the Mavrick 440 is a roadster.
Regarding competition, the Mavrick competes with the Honda CB350, Royal Enfield Meteor 350, Harley-Davidson X440 and the Bajaj Dominar 400.
