Hero Electric and Dhoot Transmission have partnered for equipping the former’s EVs with the latest wiring harnesses.
According to Sohinder Gill, CEO, Hero Electric, the wiring harness may look like a very mundane thing to an outsider but it is like the veins and capillaries of an automobile.
He said, “A well-designed and robustly manufactured wiring harness ensures that not only the power is transmitted efficiently and with minimum transmission losses from the battery to the wheel but also that even after years of operation there is no degradation of materials that can put the bike and its components to a safety risk.”
Rahul Dhoot, MD, Dhoot Transmission, added, “I am excited to announce that Dhoot Transmission has had the privilege of extensively collaborating with Hero Electric on the 3D design for Hero Electric models of the wire harness.”
Globally, Dhoot Transmission has 21 manufacturing facilities, out of which 18 are located in India. On the other hand, Hero Electric recently partnered with Battrixx to develop ‘Make in India’ lithium-ion battery packs.
