Gromax Agri Equipment Ltd. (formerly Mahindra Gujarat Tractor Ltd.), a joint venture between Mahindra & Mahindra Ltd. and the Government of Gujarat, marks its 25th anniversary with a renewed commitment to empowering Indian farmers through affordable mechanized solutions.
Originally rechristened as Mahindra Gujarat Tractor Ltd. when Mahindra acquired a major stake in 1999, the brand underwent another strategic shift in 2017, emerging as Gromax Agri Equipment Ltd. This transformation paved the way for a dramatic expansion—from a modest lineup of just 4 tractor models to a robust portfolio of over 40 variants in the 20-50HP segment under the TRAKSTAR and HINDUSTAN brands, complemented by a range of farm implements under the TRAKMATE banner.
New Launches To Commemorate Milestone
To celebrate this silver jubilee, Gromax has unveiled all-new 4WD tractor models—the Trakstar 525 and Trakstar 536. In addition, the company has introduced new 2WD tractor variants in the 24HP, 31HP, and 36HP categories, tailored specifically for the orchard segment. In a bid to attract younger farmers and set itself apart, Gromax has also rolled out eye-catching saffron and black colour themes.
