GreenLine Partners With Flipkart mobility outlook

GreenLine Mobility Solutions Ltd has announced a strategic partnership with Flipkart to promote sustainability in logistics. By introducing a fleet of liquefied natural gas (LNG)-powered trucks, GreenLine aims to enhance the efficiency and environmental sustainability of Flipkart’s supply chain.

These new trucks will handle a diverse range of cargo including both business-to-business (B2B) and business-to-consumer (B2C) deliveries. The fleet will serve regional routes connecting the western and northern parts of India. Plans for future expansion include additional routes spanning north to south and west to south corridors, aiming to strengthen logistics coverage across the country.

GreenLine’s LNG-powered fleet complements Flipkart’s existing green initiatives which include an ambitious rollout of electric vehicles (EVs) in its delivery network. Flipkart recently achieved the milestone of deploying 10,000 EVs reflecting its commitment. The integration of LNG trucks alongside EVs underscores a strategic approach to maintaining operational efficiency. While LNG and EV fleets are vital for reducing emissions, their widespread adoption requires significant investment in infrastructure and technology.
