Greenfuel Energy Forms Strategic Partnership With EVE Energy mobility outlook

Greenfuel Energy Solutions, a prominent provider of clean mobility solutions and Energy Storage Systems (ESS) in India, has announced a strategic partnership with EVE Energy, a global leader in lithium battery technology. EVE Energy stands out in the lithium battery industry, boasting core technologies and comprehensive solutions. The company has developed a perfect product sequence covering consumer, power, and ESS, extensively used in IoT and renewable applications.

EVE's cylindrical batteries, incorporating NCM and LFP material systems, offer high safety, long-endurance, long-cycle, and wide-temperature range advantages. As of now, EVE has supplied over 2.1 billion cylindrical batteries globally, ranking among the world's leading in 2022 and holding the first position in China.

Akshay Kashyap, MD & Founder of Greenfuel Energy Solutions, expressed his excitement, stating, “This strategic alliance with EVE Energy marks a significant leap forward in our commitment to delivering cutting-edge solutions for the electric mobility sector. Through our collaboration, we anticipate a substantial increase in the lifespan of our e-mobility and ESS lithium-ion battery packs.”

As Greenfuel's global partner, EVE Energy has showcased a diverse product matrix for the global market at the 2023 India EVEXPO exhibition. The display includes innovative products like cylindrical batteries, prismatic batteries, battery packs, battery systems, and Battery Management Systems (BMS), adaptable to various transportation electrification scenarios and IoT applications.

In 2023, EVE Energy announced the construction of a battery factory in Debrecen, Hungary, which will supply large cylinder batteries for the BMW Group Debrecen plant. Covering 450,000 square meters, the Hungarian factory signifies EVE's commitment to expanding its production capabilities.

Kashyap highlighted India's growing EV landscape, saying, 'Today, the country has millions of EV users, with more than 90% of its 2.3 million EVs falling under the two or three-wheeler categories. And Greenfuel stands at the cusp of the EV revolution, providing meticulously designed battery packs proudly made in India.'

Greenfuel has a 17-year legacy in India as a leading clean mobility and energy storage solutions provider. The company has sold over 100,000 batteries, covering a distance of more than 80 million km in Indian conditions. The strategic partnership with EVE Energy enhances Greenfuel's capabilities to offer high-quality, reliable, durable, and safe batteries for end-users, further solidifying its position in the Indian market.
