Greaves Cotton Limited showcased its vision for a sustainable and comprehensive mobility ecosystem at Auto Expo 2025 in New Delhi. The company unveiled a wide range, from electric vehicles to hydrogen-powered engine concepts, demonstrating its transformation into a multi-business, fuel-agnostic enterprise.
At the forefront was the debut of Ampere Xyber, an electric motorcycle concept designed for urban mobility. It boasts a certified range of 200 km per charge, a top speed of approximately 100 kmph, and fast-charging capabilities. The Xyber features a futuristic design inspired by Arctic Terns and includes a space-age cockpit layout. Greaves also presented the Ampere Xpress, a two-wheeler designed for the quick-commerce segment, capable of handling a 230 kg payload with flexible accessory options. Another highlight was the Greaves Xargo, an IoT-enabled, high-speed electric three-wheeler with a 300 kg payload capacity and a range of over 100 km per charge.
Adding to its two-wheeler portfolio, Greaves Electric Mobility unveiled premium variants of its Nexus and Magnus models. The Nexus Exec and Nexus S Tourismo feature a 5 kW motor, a top speed of 93 kmph, and a 7-inch TFT touchscreen. The Magnus Neo, priced at INR 79,999 (ex-showroom), recently completed a 2,300 km journey from Bengaluru to New Delhi, demonstrating its endurance and performance. The Magnus Neo comes with an LFP battery and a five-year or 75,000 km warranty, highlighting its reliability and value.
Greaves Engineering showcased advancements in alternate fuel technologies, including a hydrogen-powered engine concept, a Euro V+ compliant engine, and EV powertrain systems. The G396 hydrogen engine is part of Greaves’ strategy to embrace clean energy solutions. Additional highlights included a fast AC wall-mounted charger, retail aftermarket accessories, and motion control systems. The display also included Greaves’ focus on motion control systems and high-performance batteries tailored for critical applications.
