Greaves Cotton Posts Strong Q3 FY25 Results Amid Diversification Push

Greaves Cotton Limited has announced robust financial results for the third quarter of FY25, reflecting the success of its diversification efforts and fuel-agnostic strategy. The company’s consolidated revenue for the quarter reached INR 751 crore, a 13% year-on-year growth, showcasing its ability to navigate market challenges while achieving consistent growth.

In standalone terms, the company’s revenue rose to INR 502 crore, driven by a 13% year-on-year increase. The Engineering and Retail segments recorded remarkable growth of 14% and 13% respectively, underscoring Greaves Cotton’s strength in diversifying its revenue streams. The Excel division added INR 69 crore to the overall revenue, while Greaves Electric Mobility Limited (GEML) contributed INR 184 crore, reinforcing the company’s strategic focus on sustainable mobility.

Nagesh Basavanhalli, Non-Executive Vice Chairman, Greaves Cotton, mentioned that it’s fuel-agnostic and digitally integrated solutions are aimed at creating long-term value for stakeholders. Akhila Balachandar, Chief Financial Officer, attributed the company’s Q3 success to its diversification strategy which has bolstered growth across core business segments.

At the Auto Expo 2025, Greaves showcased its advancements in fuel-agnostic engines, motion control technologies, and hydrogen-powered systems, demonstrating its vision for a sustainable mobility ecosystem. The company also unveiled new electric two- and three-wheeler concepts under its Greaves Electric Mobility brand, including variants of the Ampere Nexus and Magnus scooters, along with advanced charging solutions.
