The tech-enabled car service and spares, GoMechanic, today announced its partnership with the EV charging infratech player, EVRE, to install 1,000 EV charging hubs in the next two years.
EVRE will design, build, install, operate, and maintain the slow and rapid charging stations for GoMechanic's EV-charging hubs at all of its workshops as part of the partnership. The JV's initial focus will be on establishing charging stations in Bangalore and Chennai.
According to a press release, the partnership will be a progressive contribution in-sync with the government’s recent announcements and vision to establish seamless e-mobility in India and combat range anxiety among EV users.

In line with our vision, we are glad to partner with EVRE to set up charging hubs and enable adoption while we can provide class leading aftermarket support to the EV owners.”
