GoMechanic has announced the launch of “2Wheels,” a two-wheeler servicing initiative backed by INR 100 crore investment spread across the next two years. The initiative seeks to overhaul the fragmented and unorganised two-wheeler servicing market in India by introducing affordable, high-quality, and standardised services.
With two-wheelers constituting over 75 per cent of India’s total vehicle sales, GoMechanic’s entry into this sector addresses long-standing challenges such as inconsistent service quality, unverified spare parts, and non-standardised pricing. Local garages, which dominate the market, often offer varying skill levels and lack transparency, while organised service centres cater predominantly to high-end models. This leaves a large gap in the market for affordable and reliable servicing for everyday commuters.
“Two-wheelers are the backbone of Indian mobility, yet their servicing remains highly unorganised,” stated Himanshu Arora, CEO and Co-Founder, GoMechanic. “With ‘2Wheels,’ we aim to make bike servicing as seamless as booking a cab—affordable, reliable, and just a few clicks away. This is a game-changer for millions of riders, and we are thrilled to lead this transformation.”
GoMechanic’s two-wheeler servicing offers a wide range of maintenance and repair solutions, including routine servicing, oil changes, brake pad replacements, engine overhauls, advanced diagnostics, and performance tuning. The services are delivered using genuine spare parts, AI-driven diagnostics, and highly trained technicians, ensuring transparency and consistency.
Customers can choose from cost-effective service packages, benefit from doorstep servicing, and access an expansive network of workshops. GoMechanic expects to onboard millions of two-wheeler owners within the first year and expand its operations to over 100 cities.
