Getac Technology Corporation (Getac), a global leader in rugged computing solutions, has teamed up with MAHLE Aftermarket to develop a next-generation automotive diagnostic tool.

The new diagnostic tool is designed to meet the rigorous demands of multi-brand specialist workshops, ensuring high-quality standards and improved customer service. Given the challenging environments of automotive repair—characterized by dust, grease, humidity, and fluctuating temperatures—MAHLE Aftermarket required a robust, reliable technology partner to drive innovation.

“We are proud to collaborate with MAHLE Aftermarket on this strategic project, offering a rugged solution that directly addresses the needs of the automotive aftermarket. Our goal is to empower workshops worldwide with innovative digital technology to enhance efficiency and productivity,” said James Hwang, President of Getac Technology Corporation.

To support workshops in overcoming daily operational challenges, the new solution includes a compact, fully rugged Android Enterprise Recommended tablet that integrates portability, mobility, and a range of accessories for seamless diagnostics.

“After extensive market research, we chose Getac for its global automotive expertise and ability to develop customized solutions tailored to our specific requirements,” said Daniel Hessenauer, Head of Global Product Management Service Solutions, MAHLE Aftermarket.
