Indian drone company Garuda Aerospace on Tuesday announced its support for the Indian Army for conducting trials with drones for defence purposes.
According to a press release from the company, the exercise aims to demonstrate drones and anti-drone technology to diversify applications to support security mandates and serve the nation. It added that the drones will be used for on-field testing and training.
Agnishwar Jayaprakash, Founder and CEO, Garuda Aerospace, said that this support to the Indian Army will transcend with scaling up opportunities in future for Garuda Aerospace.
The company said that it has recently commenced its $30 million Series A round at $250 million valuation. Also, the former Indian cricket team captain Mahendra Singh Dhoni has invested in the company and has become the Brand Ambassador.
