Indian drone startup Garuda Aerospace has announced its entry into Africa through its partnership with HiiLSE Drones.
According to a press release from Garuda Aerospace, the company aims to deploy drones for the agriculture sector for the purpose of large scaling mapping, inspection and training for better agricultural output.
Additionally, Garuda Aerospace plans to create job opportunities in the region through the partnership.
Agnishwar Jayapraksh, Founder and CEO, Garuda Aerospace, said, 'With this partnership we aim to add value to the agriculture ecosystem by powering them with drones that are enabled with advanced AI, ML and deep learning technologies.”
Meanwhile, Garuda Aerospace has also commenced its $30 million Series A round at $250 million valuation and is aiming to achieve unicorn status by 2023.
