Mani has been associated with Hyundai Motor India since December 2015. He was elevated as a Member of the Board of Directors of Hyundai in 2020.

Ganesh Mani S, Director (Production), Hyundai Motor India, has resigned from his association with the OEM. Hyundai Motor, via an official statement, noted that the OEM has accepted Mani's request.

The statement read, 'Hyundai Motor India has shared a mutually enriching relation with Mani over the last seven years and his valuable contributions have significantly added to HMI’s operational excellence at our state of the art plant in Sriperumbudur. Hyundai Motor India wishes Ganesh Mani the very best in all his future endeavours.'

Mani, as per his Linkedin Profile, was associated with Hyundai Motor India since December 2015. He had joined the OEM as Vice President and had risen through the ranks to become a Member of the OEM's Board of Directors in July 2020.

He has also previously worked with Maruti Suzuki India and Bharat Heavy Electricals Limited. He holds a MBA from Management Development Institute, a fellowship from International Management Institute and a degree in Global Executive Programme from Indian School of Business.
