Smart Mobility Solutions Provider and largest exporter of cars, Hyundai Motor India, on Monday set the stage to launch its six and seven-seater SUV Alcazar. 

The company adopted a personalised approach as four Hyundai SUVs form the name Alcazar in 1 km length in the Rann of Kutch.

Tarun Garg, Director (Sales, Marketing & Service), Hyundai Motor India, said that to elevate the life of the company's SUV further, it is gearing up to soon introduce its premium 6 & 7-seater SUV, Alcazar. 

The SUV will compete with the likes of Tata Safari and MG Hector Plus. 

Hyundai Alcazar comes with a 2.0L petrol engine that can churn out 156 hp power and 191.17 NM of torque and a 1.5L diesel engine with a maximum output of 113 hp and 249.47 NM of torque. 

Both the engine options come with a 6-speed manual or a 6-speed automatic transmission. 

The petrol engine under the hood mated to the 6-speed manual transmission, and the Alcazar can do a 0-100 run in under 10 seconds, the company claims. 

Alcazar SUV underpins a 75.6% advanced and high-strength steel structure which helps in improving the vehicle's ruggedness and durability. The car prices are yet to be released, but it is expected that the Alcazar will be offered between INR 15 to 20 lakh.
