Soon after exiting Ford India, the former President and Managing Director of the American carmaker Anurag Mehrotra joined Tata Motors as Vice President - International Business Strategy for commercial vehicles.
In a letter to the employees, the company informed about the appointment of Anurag Mehrotra to the commercial vehicle business unit (CVBU) with effect from 1 October 2021.
He will be based out of the IB office at Worli and will report to Executive Director & Head, CVBU.
In his most recent assignment as President & MD of Ford India, Mehrotra spent over a decade across multiple leadership roles in marketing, sales and service. He brings with him a rich multi-industry experience of over twenty five years which he has gained through the course of impactful assignments at WNS Global Services, Accenture and Genesis Public Relations.
An Electronics Engineer from Mumbai University, he earned his Post Graduate in Marketing Management from Times School of Marketing.
