Force Motors has announced the launch prices for its 2024 models of the Force Gurkha. The all-new 5-door and 3-door variants that were recently unveiled with the 3-door version is priced at INR 16,75,000 and the 5-door at INR. 18,00,000, exclusive of TCS. Additional costs such as accessories, road tax, registration, and insurance will apply.
The 2024 Force Gurkha is equipped with a 2.6-liter turbocharged inter-cooled diesel engine that produces 140PS and a peak torque of 320Nm across a range of 1,400 to 2,600rpm. This power enhancement not only facilitates high-speed cruising on expressways but also improves the vehicle’s off-road capabilities, surpassing others in its class.
Prasan Firodia, Managing Director of Force Motors, highlighted the Gurkha's adaptability to India’s diverse landscapes, from snow-capped mountains to tropical rainforests. According to him, the Force Gurkha excels in various driving conditions, whether it's daily commuting, highway driving, or overlanding across the country.
The updated Gurkha boasts off-road features like 233mm ground clearance, 18-inch wheels, 35-degree gradeability, and a 700mm water-wading capacity, further enhanced by a factory-fitted air intake snorkel. The vehicle also features fully locking mechanical differentials and an electronic shift-on-the-fly system, making 4WD transitions seamless.
Comfort and technology are not compromised in the new Gurkha. It offers the most spacious interior in its class, a panoramic view, comfortable seating, a digital instrumentation cluster, and a 9-inch touchscreen infotainment system compatible with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. Safety features include a robust all-metal body, frontal crash compliance, dual airbags, ABS, and EBD, ensuring both adventure and safety are prioritised.
