Volkswagen Passenger Cars India has released the first chapter of its new customer engagement program 'Volkswagen Experiences (VWe)' with an expedition to Ladakh. This inaugural journey, which started from Chandigarh, aims to offer Volkswagen customers and fans a unique and immersive experience, traversing the landscapes of the Himalayas.
The expedition, aptly named 'The First Chapter: An Exhilarating Expedition to Ladakh,' kicked off with a convoy of over 25 Volkswagen vehicles, including the Tiguan, Virtus, and Taigun. The journey takes participants from Chandigarh to Ladakh, covering diverse terrains and picturesque scenery. Along the way, participants will drive through Manali, Jispa, and ultimately reach Leh, Ladakh.
Ashish Gupta, Brand Director of Volkswagen Passenger Cars India, stated 'As we flag off the First Chapter from Chandigarh, we look forward to customers having a superlative experience of owning and driving a Volkswagen. Driving steadily across the different terrains, keeping the occupants safe, provides our customers peace of mind.'
Participants in the expedition will also indulge in various local experiences including exploring offbeat rustic hamlets, ancient monasteries, and high-altitude mountain passes. The journey also offers a taste of local cuisine, outdoor survival training sessions, a visit to the Palchan Apple orchards, and culminating by the banks of the Indus River in Leh. Volkswagen has emphasised the safety and comfort of its participants throughout the journey.
