Pune-based electric vehicle company EVTRIC Motors has launched its first electric motorcycle EVTRIC RISE priced at INR 159,990.
Launched at an event in Rajasthan, the EVTRIC RISE can clock a top speed of 70 kmph, claimed the company. Equipped with a 70 V/ 40 ah lithium-ion battery that can be charged in four hours, the brand is promising a range of 110 km on every charge.
The company has also equipped its latest offering with a 10 amp micro charger, which comes with an auto cut feature. The e-motorcycle is powered by a 2,000 W BLDC motor. Equipped with LEDs and daytime running lights, the company will retail the RISE in red and black colours.
Manoj Patil, Founder & MD, EVTRIC Motors said the RISE is EVTRIC’s first 'Make in India' product. The OEM is already retailing EVTRIC AXIS, EVTRIC RIDE and EVTRIC MIGHTY across 125 touch points in India.
“The bike shall define the true quality experience for the customers, who are still otherwise hesitant to switch from ICE to EV. We believe, it is a responsibility for Indian automakers to give their best to the ultimate e-mobility mission and contribute towards the advancement of the market, and a pollution-free tomorrow,” said Patil.
