Euler Motors has announced its entry into the small commercial vehicle (SCV) segment, unveiling plans to launch its first 4-wheeler electric vehicle (EV) with a payload capacity of over 1000 kilograms. The vehicle is set to be introduced during the upcoming festive season and is designed to cater to the increasing demand for cost-effective and high-performance transportation solutions for both inter-city and intra-city operations.
Building on the success of its three-wheeler HiLoad EV, known for introducing industry-first features, Euler Motors’ new 4-wheeler is expected to set new benchmarks in the market. The vehicle will offer a driving range and high payload capacity, alongside thoughtful design ergonomics to enhance the driving experience. Additionally, it will come equipped with advanced real-time fleet management features, making it particularly suited for industries such as logistics, FMCG, beverages, dairy, paint, and lubricants.
The SCV segment in India, currently valued at around INR 34,900 crore, is predominantly dominated by internal combustion engine (ICE) vehicles. However, electric vehicles, while still a smaller share of the market, are anticipated to experience the fastest growth. EVs present significant cost-saving opportunities and are expected to achieve price parity with traditional fuel vehicles, making them an attractive option for businesses seeking to enhance operational efficiency and sustainability. Euler Motors’ upcoming 4-wheeler SCV is aimed at not only improving business ROI but also aligning with India’s climate change commitments.
Saurav Kumar, Founder & CEO of Euler Motors, mentioned “Our research into the SCV segment shows a strong interest among retail and institutional customers in transitioning to EVs that offer high performance, extended range, and advanced features. This new 4-wheeler vehicle will meet these demands, making it a reliable companion for both long and short cargo transportation.”
