Institute of Supply Chain Management (ISCM) has launched its “Supply Chain Champions” wherein out of the 20 top players across India, eight are either from the automotive industry or connected to it, including Cummins India, Ashok Leyland and Maruti Suzuki.
The ISCM Supply Chain Ranking methodology identifies companies that exemplify higher supply chain performance levels and a superior value addition level during 2012-2021.
ISCM developed an India-centric model for ranking supply chains in India based on quantitative data and qualitative factors using data from annual reports. The data-driven methodology measures supply chain maturity, intensity and democratisation and incorporates peer group comparison.
It tracked the supply chain performance for over 300 listed companies in 22 sectors for quantitative measures of excellence and strategic intent across profitability, performance, value creation, sustainability, governance, and DEI (Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion).
ISCM, a premier education, training, research and consulting firm exclusively focused on planning, supply chain, logistics, sustainability, and sourcing, actively works towards building knowledge through its research, training, consulting and thought leadership forum.
