Eicher Trucks and Buses has begun the supply of its newly launched Eicher Pro X electric trucks to Magenta Mobility logistics solutions provider. As part of an initial order of 100 units, the first batch of Eicher Pro X small trucks with a payload capacity of 1.7 tonnes will be deployed in key markets including Mumbai, Delhi NCR, Bangalore, Hyderabad, and Chennai.
The deployment of Eicher Pro X trucks is expected to strengthen last-mile and mid-mile delivery networks while reducing carbon emissions in the transport sector. These trucks were first unveiled at the Bharat Mobility Global Expo 2025 and represent Eicher’s entry into the growing 2-3.5T segment. With a focus on efficiency, the Pro X offers best-in-class cargo space, an industry-leading turning radius, and enhanced visibility, making it suitable for city and near-city distribution. It is designed to cater to the needs of e-commerce, FMCG, and parcel delivery sectors, where reliable and sustainable transport solutions are increasingly in demand.
S S Gill, Chief Commercial Officer, VE Commercial Vehicles, stated that the Eicher Pro X range is engineered to meet the rising demand for high-performance, energy-efficient vehicles and aligns with Magenta Mobility’s objective of reducing emissions in last-mile transport.
Maxson Lewis, Founder and CEO, Magenta Mobility, highlighted that the integration of Eicher Pro X trucks into Magenta’s fleet will help the company offer more efficient and reliable transportation solutions while advancing its goal of decarbonising supply chains.
The Eicher Pro X range incorporates modern technology to optimise vehicle performance. It features air-conditioned cabins for driver comfort, advanced safety systems, and connectivity through Eicher’s Uptime Centre, which provides 24/7 monitoring, AI/ML-driven remote diagnostics, and over-the-air (FOTA) telematics updates.
