Luxury motorcycle brand Ducati has unveiled its latest adventure machine in India – the DesertX Discovery. Designed to conquer any terrain, this 'full optional' model is engineered for unforgettable journeys both on and off-road, boasting features that enhance comfort, protection, and style. The DesertX Discovery comes equipped with reinforced hand guards, an engine guard featuring water pump protection, a robust radiator grill, and a reinforced sump guard. For enhanced rider comfort in cooler climates, the model includes heated grips and a larger windshield. Additionally, the central stand not only improves stability but also facilitates easier luggage access and maintenance. The bold Thrilling Black/Ducati Red livery further underscores its adventurous spirit.
The DesertX Discovery is powered by a 937cc liquid-cooled Testastretta 11° desmodromic distribution engine, delivering 108.5 bhp maximum power at 9,250 rpm and a peak torque of 92 Nm at 6,500 rpm. The engine is optimised with specific gear ratios and electronic adjustments, catering to both road and off-road riding. The motorcycle offers six riding modes, with three dedicated to road use and two specifically tuned for off-road performance. It also features a 21-litre fuel tank, enabling long-distance travel with minimal refuelling stops.
