Ducati Unveils The New Panigale V4 mobility outlook

Ducati has unveiled its latest superbike, the Panigale V4, a machine that epitomises the blend of power, performance, and sophisticated design. The new Panigale V4 is designed to deliver exhilarating riding experiences, with a power-to-weight ratio of 1:15 bhp/kg, achieved through a combination of weight reduction and a powerful engine. This makes it faster on the track, more fun to ride, and less tiring for riders of all skill levels, from amateurs to professionals.

The new design, crafted by Centro Stile Ducati, is driven by aerodynamics and performance, featuring sensual and unmistakable lines. It incorporates technologies derived from MotoGP, allowing enthusiasts to experience the sensations of professional riders. Ducati has pushed the limits of road super sports bikes further, evolving the bike that won the Superbike World Championship for two consecutive years.

Claudio Domenicali, CEO of Ducati, stated during the Ducati World Premiere, 'Ducati's mission is to enrich people's lives through technologically sophisticated motorcycles characterised by sensual beauty. Few bikes like the new Panigale V4 achieve this mission, continuing a history of successes and unforgettable models. This motorcycle represents the maximum expression of our values of style, sophistication, and performance.'

The Panigale V4’s 1103cc Desmosedici Stradale engine, derived from Ducati's MotoGP bike, features desmodromic distribution and a counter-rotating shaft. The new model weighs 187 kg, two kilogrammes less than its predecessor, despite adhering to the stringent Euro5+ emissions standards.

One of the standout features of the new Panigale V4 is its integrated aerodynamic design. The new fairing reduces aerodynamic resistance by 4% and offers better protection for the rider. High-efficiency double-profile wings maintain downforce, while modifications to the mudguard and radiator conveyor improve cooling system efficiency. Inspired by the legendary Ducati 916, the new design incorporates ergonomic and aerodynamic solutions to meet modern track riding demands.

The Panigale V4’s chassis and electronics bring it closer to MotoGP standards. The bike features a new Front Frame and a double-sided swingarm, enhancing stiffness and reducing weight. The Panigale V4 S version includes Ohlins NPX/TTX suspensions with electronically controlled adjustments, providing comfort on the road and precision on the track.

The bike is also the first in the world to be equipped with Brembo Hypure front brake callipers, which are lighter and more efficient. The new Race eCBS system, developed by Bosch and Ducati, enhances braking performance, allowing riders to delay braking points on the track.

Ducati has also introduced the Vehicle Observer (DVO), which simulates the input of over 70 sensors, refining electronic control strategies for unprecedented effectiveness. The new 6.9-inch full-TFT dashboard offers maximum readability and a new Track display designed to support riders in their pursuit of peak performance.
