The Ducati Monster has received a price cut and it is now available at a special price of Rs 10.99 lakh, ex-showroom, India. The offer, however, is only valid till 31 July and subject to terms and conditions, and till stocks last. The Monster used to cost Rs 12.95 lakh, ex-showroom, prior to the discount.
Following the price cut, the Ducati Monster sits a lot closer to competition like the Triumph Street Triple R that’s priced at Rs 10.17 lakh, ex-showroom. The Kawasaki Z900, on the other hand, continues to be the most affordable bike in the segment with an ex-showroom price of Rs 9.38 lakh.
The Ducati Monster is powered by a 937cc, L-twin engine that makes 111bhp at 9,250rpm and 93Nm at 6,500rpm. It is paired with a six-speed gearbox that has a quick shifter as standard.
Its design is sleeker and more compact than its predecessor and under the bodywork, you’ve got an aluminium frame with a 43mm, non-adjustable USD fork and a monoshock.
As is the case with most modern Ducatis these days, the bike has a comprehensive electronics suite that includes ride modes, traction control and cornering ABS. Settings for the same can be adjusted by accessing the menus on the TFT instrument cluster.
