Leading F&B brand Domino’s has tied up with electric motorcycle manufacturer Revolt Motors to convert its current petrol motorcycle fleet to e-bikes.

In a press release, Revolt Motors claimed that Domino’s will procure the entire existing inventory of RV300 bike models and will progressively procure its customised model to transform its fleet. However, the company did not share how many electric motorcycles Dominos will purchase in the short or long term.

Domino’s had been piloting Revolt bikes for its deliveries for quite some time now and, with a successful pilot, has now partnered with Revolt for its green push.

According to the company, these bikes will be specially customised for Jubilant Foodworks (Domino’s) to suit its business needs and at the same time enable a zero-emission delivery experience.

Given the falling prices of electric bikes due to lower production costs and a slew of incentives being announced by the central and various state governments, these bikes save the environment and make economic sense due to lower maintenance and running costs as compared to traditional petrol engine bikes. Moreover, with a running cost of approximately INR9 per 100 kms, these bikes give massive savings compared to the running cost of petrol bikes.

Anjali Rattan, Business Chairman of RattanIndia Enterprises, said, “The partnership also speaks volumes about the reliability and quality of our product which is already being extensively used on actual roads pan India.”
