The new age e2W startup, Dispatch Vehicles, has announced that it is planning to launch its debutante product by Q1FY23. Claimed to be Made-in-India, the e-scooter is designed to enable shared and commercial applications, the company said in a press release.
The company said it has secured a Tier-1 supply chain for all critical components, including mechanical parts, electronics and powertrain components. Additionally, the company also claims to be testing the vehicle for a year now.
Adopting a Capex light approach, the e2W maker stated that it has partnered with a contract manufacturer with an installed capacity of up to six million scooters per anum for its e-Scooter.
Rajit Arya, Co-Founder & CEO, Dispatch Vehicles, said fleets are currently stuck with vehicles designed for personal ownership without the right infrastructure or relevant services under one unified ecosystem.
